Other Ways to Get Involved

  • Encourage a student: If you know an African American sophomore or junior attending WGHS, please share this information wtih them and encourage them to apply. Many students need the encouragement, support and confidence of an adult (mentor) they know and trust to help make their decision to participate and to follow through with development of a PPIF submission. For more information, click here.

    • All students must register by midnight CST on November 1, 2019.

    • All entries are due by noon CST on December 11, 2019 and delivered to the Chelsea Center.

  • Student Reception: An opportunity to join others in the community in honoring award winners and  to view and learn about student entries. The spring 2020 Student Reception date will be announced early 2020.
